baloo-kf5 software package provides framework for searching and managing metadata, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install baloo-kf5
baloo-kf5 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the baloo-kf5 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep baloo-kf5 *
You will get with baloo-kf5 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
